Lindesfarne
England

I have been to England at first time in the summer of 2002. We had an International Conference held at Edinbrugh, Scotland.

The Meetings of Operational Research Societies have been held in every three years. Conferences continue from Monday to Friday of the week, but Wednesday is Excursion Day for all the participants from all over the world.

I went to an old villadge Lindesfarne located in Holy Island on east coast of England.

This is the ruins of medieval charch remaining at the end of the south of villadge.

In fact, the main highlight is a small castle called Lindesfarne Castle on the tip of the island.
This scene was too much impressive for me.
