In 1987, The IFORS Conference was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Operations Research Society of Japan planed to visit countries in South America, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. The planner was myself WakaG.

We dropped in Rio de Janeiro and visited Peak of Mount Corcovado to see the statue of Jesus Christ.
