New Year's Drawing 2018

Palais Bourbon
iParisj

Jan. 1, 2018

This is my picture of the Bourbon Palace, Paris. This palace was built for Louise-Francoise de Bourbon (1673-1743), the duchesse de Bourbon, the legitimized daughter of Louis XIV and Francoise-Athenais, marquise de Montespan.

In June of 1990, I walked along the Seine River to find a spot for my drawing angle. I found a point for photo of the Bourbon Palace, the Eiffel Tower and the Concorde Bridge together.

The Eiffel Tower appeared at first time in my picture. But what I wanted to draw may be "the shadow of the leaves" actually.

This is my "New year's drawing for 2018".

With best wishes.
