1990年頃に、私はミッシェル･ルグランの”How Do You Keep The Music Playing?” を好んで唄っていました。トニー・ベネットの歌を聴いて覚えました。トニーはシナトラにこの歌を唄えと言われて唄うようになったのです。

作詞はAlan & Marilyn Bergmanです。オシドリ夫婦は50年間も一緒に詞を書き続けました。クインシー・ジョーンズが二人をルグランに紹介しました。クインシーが1950年代にパリにいた頃、ルグランの姉さんのクリスチャンヌとDouble Six Of Parisというボーカル・グループで一緒だったのです。

同じコンビで、”What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life?”という深刻な歌を書いています。似通っているのはそのせいです。
